After years of writing emails to friends about our various trips, I’ve finally gotten around to creating a blog about our restless travels. TheRestessTraveler (TRT) is a website about and for people who like to take the road less traveled. It’s ground-centric as Karen and I like to wander, following our instincts rather than a set plan, and that’s easiest to do on a motorcycle, RV, car, bus, train, taxi (ground or water), horse, wagon and — god forbid — our feet.

We’re Rich and Chris - We love motorcycle riding and camping. Rich rides a Harley Davidson RoadGlide towing a Bunkhouse camper trailer and Chris rides a BMW R1250GS. We’re creating online content to encourage, motivate and inform motorcycle travelers. We want to share our experiences with you about what it’s like living on the road from the back of a Motorcycle. It's not as easy as you’d think and we share these challenges in the hopes of helping you not make our same mistakes on your own great motorcycle riding adventures.
