Death | Norwich, Feb 13. – The Funeral of Clarissa Button, widow of William Nelson Button, who died at her home, 61 Cortland Street, on Saturday last, was held from her late residence at 2 p.m. Today. Clarissa Button was 91 years of age, and had spent most of her life in Norwich. For the past 14 years, since the death of her husband, she had made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Fidelia e. Barr and for more than nine years had been an invalid. Though blind and suffering from almost constant pain this amiable lady was at all times cheerful and greatly concerned for the happiness of those about her. She was ardently religious and of Methodist belief. Deceased is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Fidelia e. Barr of 61 Cortland street, also a son, William H. Button of Sherburne, and two sisters, Mrs. Sally Parkhusrt, who resides in the State of Michigan, and Mrs. Mercy Babcock of this village. Funeral services were private. Burial in Mt.
