This was Dick Rutan's plane during much of his tour in Vietnam. Dick was the first to fly around the world without refueling or landing. His brother Burt designed and build the special plane used. I had dinner with Dick and "hired" him to speak to a meeting of the IBM Aerospace Branch office staff back in the 1980's.
