This is how the entrance previously appeared. Pablo Escobar put a replica of his Piper PA-18 Super Cub airplane (tail number HK-617-P) on the entry arch to his ranch. The airplane arch is now gone, you can see the current entry arch to the animal park in the background. Escobar’s Super Cub was especially sentimental to him. He allegedly used it to fly his first cocaine shipment into the United States in the late 1970s.
