we passed through in a day without an overnight stop on the way south, then returned on the way north to stay a few days. mountains everywhere. a small but beautiful country.
Bosnia and Herzegovina
North to south through the country. Multiple days in Sarajevo. Overnight on the Montenegro coast then north for many days in Neum, Bosnia's small access to the coast.
Croatia
our first Balkins country ... then we returned on the way back north
Austria
or Österreich in German. Visiting Vienna and riding south through the country.
Slovakia
so many beautiful mountains (Tatra) that we rarely were able to take pictures of. Slovakia is the eastern half formed from the former country Czechoslovakia.
Poland 2
Return to Poland on the way back from the Baltic. Southern Poland including visits to Warsaw, Krakow, Treblinka, Auschwitz and the Tatra mountain along the Slovakian border.
