What a grand trip!! No rain, warm—not hot—temperatures in the desert and great folks. This year's trip to the Motorcycle Sport Touring Association (MSTA) Sport Touring Association Rendezvous (STAR) event was really great. Held annually in various places around the country, this year STAR was in Taos, New Mexico. It was last held there in 1998. In '98, the whole Button family was in attendance and we enjoyed it greatly. So, it was an easy decision to commit to a return in 2010. But, this time it's just Debbie and John from the Button clan. Debbie choose to drive to the event, sharing the car with Iris. John went by motorcycle with Jeff, Rich and Steve. We saw and did way too much to describe in detail so we'll let the pictures speak for us.

The 4^th annual Paso Robles MSTA ride event is history. This one may have been the best ever. We enjoyed nearly perfect weather and great roads with limited traffic all day. After a great day of riding, Central Coast Trolley moved everyone from the hotel to the house where Good Times catered a tasty meal on the back patio. More pictures ...

Looks like there's another wedding in the works. Justin proposed to Briana and, to no one's surprise, it's a go! While his parents and other family members were in town, Justin wisely took advantage of the opportunity to spring the surprise. We all gathered in the house waiting for the crew to return from dinner. On arrival he delivered a prepared "speech" (well at least I think he planned the words). With the appropriate amount and volume of screaming, yelling and crying, the deed was done. On with the snacks, drinks, Champagne toast and Wii games. Stay tuned for details.
