Please Welcome Nur Khayati to the Linux Tutorial family

     Nur Khayati

After the devastation in Indonesia from the tsunami in December 2004, the earthquake in the summer of 2006 and the floods shortly thereafter, I decided to sponsor a child with the Christian Children's Fund. Despite the name, children are welcomed into the programs regardless of religous beliefs. The child I selected is Nur Khayati, who lives in Central Java, close to the epicenter of the 2006 earthquake.

Nur has known only poverty in her young life. She lives with her parents in a simple house with earthen floor, bad sanitation and no private bathroom. Her father works very irregularly as a farm laborer, and the family's annual income is around US$ 333.00. Nur is studying in the primary school and her favorite subject is mathematics. and her hobby is singing.

It would be wonderful if you, too, could also help out by making a donation.
